We happily accept returns for items unworn and in original condition and packaging within 14 days from date of delivery for an exchange or store credit.

Did your order arrive not up to scratch?

If your order arrives broken or damaged, please let us know within seven days of receiving it. We are so sorry to hear that. We pride ourselves on beautiful jewellery and happy customers.

We offer a 60-day warranty on all Desiderate products, valid from the date of purchase. Any manufacturing faults will be obvious within this timeframe.

The warranty covers manufacturing faults or damage occurring during shipping but doesn't cover neglect or wear and tear.

At our discretion we'll replace or repair your damaged product.

Doesn’t quite fit? No problem, let us know, and we’ll swap it over. You’ll just have to cover the postage so we can sort it out, and you’ll have your beautiful piece of jewellery in no time.

We offer exchanges or store credit for change of mind, including incorrect size choices. We don't refund for change of mind, including incorrect size choice. The store credit is not able to be used for postage costs, and it has no expiry date.

Except in the case of earrings, which go into your skin, those are yours now as  Australian Hygiene Laws prohibit returns or exchanges on pierced earrings.

Custom orders cannot be returned as they're specifically created for you.

Afterpay, Zippay, Humm, Latitude and Laybuy purchases are only eligible for return for credit, not refund. The payment contract is with the credit provider, not Desiderate.

Earrings cannot be returned or exchanged due to Australian Hygiene laws.

Sale items are also final. No returns on Sale items.

We cannot take responsibility or accept returns for items that have been altered, even by a professional jeweller.

NO RETURNS FOR CUSTOM ORDERS. PIERCED EARRINGS. SALE ITEMS OR ITEMS NOT IN AS NEW, UNWORN CONDITION.

INTERNATIONAL RETURNS: Desiderate isn't responsible for any additional taxes and customs charges that are requested during the shipment of your order. You'll receive and email when your order is dispatched, this will contain a tracking number and a link which will enable you to track the progress of your delivery.

If an order was refused at country of delivery and returned here, postage to send again will apply and postage for original deliver is not refundable.

What to do?

1. Contact us by email with details about the return at returns@desiderate.com.au

2. Download, print, fill in RETURNS FORM  

3. Return the product to us, including the Returns form.

4. We'll check the product is in original condition and provide store credit.

5. We will not accept returns in worn or not in new condition.

Who pays for Postage?

If you change your mind or need to change the size, you need to pay for the postage to return it to us and to have the replacement delivered to you, if a product arrives damaged Desiderate will cover the return postage.

If you return an item for store credit you'll still be responsible for postage - store credit can't be used for postage and store credit isn't included in the free shipping over $100.

How will I be refunded if my piece arrives damaged?

You will be credited back to the original payment source.

Remember, you are responsible for safely packaging your return to ensure we receive the product in as new condition, we suggest you make sure your return parcel has tracking as we're not responsible for a parcel not reaching us.

**Returns for change of mind or choosing the wrong size are responsible for postage both ways.

 Please note: you have 14 days to return exchanges to us from date of receiving the item (or it being delivered to the post office). Any exchanges or returns after 14 days are null and void.

We aim to process returns within 5 business days of receiving them and often much faster. Once your return is processed we'll contact you via email with the details.
Please be aware, that we begin processing returns after we have received the item in as new, unworn condition and packaging.
